Rocky Point
Puerto Peñasco, also known as Rocky Point, is located on the Sea of Cortez surrounded by the beauty of the Sonoran Desert in Sonora, Mexico. It is a scenic 4-hour drive from Phoenix or Tucson, Arizona and soon, with the completion of the new Mexico Coastal Highway, a 4-hour drive from Southern California as well. This seaside resort offers lots of activities for the entire family including shopping, golfing, dining, and more.
The need and opportunity in Rocky Point is just as amazing as the wealth and luxury. Just a few miles outside of this resort community lives thousands of families in poverty. Most families are living out of cardboard shacks and are without running water. The additional need inside the city ranges from simple service projects to shelters and orphanages needing assistance.
One Mission exists in Rocky Point to Unite people behind a common goal of Building up the community by Serving others.
